What does this domain checker do?
Domain Checker is a free bulk tool for website and domain status. Paste a list of domains and it visits each home page, follows redirects and puts every domain into a clear category. For domains that do not load, it asks the registry through RDAP (the official replacement for WHOIS) whether the domain is still registered, and it asks the Wayback Machine whether the domain had a website before.
People use it to clean up old link lists, audit a domain portfolio, find broken backlinks, and find expired domains with history that can be registered again.
How to check domains in bulk
- Paste your domains into the box, one per line or separated by commas or spaces. URLs like
https://example.com/pageare fine. - Click Check domains. Up to 100 domains are checked per run, six at a time.
- Use the filters to focus on a group, such as Available to buy or Dead & buyable (had website), then copy the list or download a CSV.

- Default page
- Only a server default page (for example "Welcome to nginx"), not a real website.

- DNS failed
- The domain does not resolve. It may be expired, unregistered or misconfigured.
- Timeout / Unreachable / Server error
- The server did not answer, refused the connection or returned a 5xx error.
Frequently asked questions
How do I check many domains at once?
Paste your domains into the box (one per line, or separated by commas or spaces) and click Check domains. Up to 100 domains are checked per run, six at a time, and results appear as they finish.
What does a parked domain mean?
A parked domain loads, but only shows a for-sale, ads or expired-domain page instead of a real website, or redirects to a domain marketplace such as Sedo or HugeDomains.
How can I tell if a domain is expired or available to register?
When a site does not load, the checker asks the domain registry through RDAP. A not-found answer means the domain is available. An expiration date in the past, or a redemption / pending-delete status, means it is expiring. Each result links to GoDaddy and Namecheap so you can register it.
How do I find expired domains that used to have a website?
Use the Dead & buyable (had website) filter. It lists domains that are available or expiring and that have archived snapshots in the Wayback Machine, with the years the site was active.
Why is a working site shown as Blocked?
Many sites use firewalls such as Cloudflare that block automated visitors. Blocked still means the server is online.
Which domain extensions are supported?
Website status works for any domain. Registration status needs RDAP, which covers .com, .net, .org, most new gTLDs and many country codes. Some ccTLDs such as .de, .io, .co and .me have no RDAP, so their registration shows as Unknown.
Is it free? Are there limits?
Yes, it is free. To keep it fair for everyone there are limits of about 60 checks per minute and 1,000 domains per day per visitor.
